Nigeria: Explosions Occurs In Kano, Casualties Unknown

Two terrible explosions have occurred in Kano state, Nigeria’s Largest northern state, claiming unknown casaualties.

The explosions according to reports, occured at about 5pm (Nigerian time), with one of them at a Zonal Police Headquarters, ripping the roof the building. Reporters so far have been kept away from the buildings.

The authorities were unable to speak to reporters as to what caused the explosions or if there were any casualties.

This could be the latest of attacks by radical Islamic group, Boko Haram. Who police say were behind the escape of suspect Kabiru Sokoto, later this week.
