Nigeria: Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Has Called-Off Its Strike Action.

ASUU has called-off their strike action!

The news is yet to be confirmed by any top official, but the union had yesterday (Tuesday) said they would call-off the strike if negotiations with the Federal Government went according to plan.

The Union has been on strike for the past two-months, after the Nigerian Government in 2009 promised to implement some policies in favour of the Union, but failed to implement the policies forcing the Union to go on strike.
