Talk Of Africa: Zambia Wins AFCON 2012

IvoryZambia has won the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) on penalty, after an incredibly goalless regular time.

The Ivorians should have taken the lead in the 70th minute when they were awarded a penalty, but star striker Didier Drogba failed to convert the penalty.

The match was tied at nil-nil all through, even with the continuous attack by Zambia.

The match was later decided on very intense, and long penalties, which ended 8-7, in favour of Zambia.

The match which brought back sad memories to the Zambians, was an inspiration for their win.
