Two suicide bombers suspected to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect on Sunday, blew up the Church of Christ In Nigeria (COCIN) headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.
The Morning service was still being held, when the bombs went off, with unknown casualties. It was reported that the Plateau State Commissioner Of Information and also a pastor in the church, Abraham Yiljap, was injured in the explosion.
The COCIN is located in the heart of Jos, close to the Central Bank of Nigeria. Although the casualty level hasn’t been confirmed, LEADERSHIP Newspaper gathered that the two bombers and several other worshippers were killed in the explosion.
