Microsoft To Buy Nokia For $7.2b

Microsoft has announced that they are going to buy Nokia for $7.2b on Monday.
Nokia is the second largest phone maker in the world, behind Samsung, but far ahead of Iphone.
Before now, Microsoft and Nokia had been in a partnership since 2011, which has seen the Nokia Lumia brand become the highest selling WindowsPhone device, selling over 82% of the Windows Phone in 2012.
The deal would see Microsoft compete, directly, with Google and Iphone in the Smartphone OS market, and Samsung and Iphone in the smartphone market.
